About The Position

St. Luke’s Surgical Center, Inc. in Tarpon Springs, Florida, is hiring a part-time Physician Assistant to support its growing practice and provide exceptional patient care. Requirements

Be licensed, or able to obtain licensure, to practice in the state of Florida.
Have part-time availability Monday through Friday, with a 7 a.m. start time.
Have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Be able to multitask and demonstrate attention to detail.
Have knowledge of EHR, Excel, and Word documents.
Communicate effectively and professionally.
Maintain discretion, accuracy, and confidentiality with all patients.
Be able to frequently stand, sit, and walk.
Have computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Ophthalmology experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for surgery.
Verify patient information by interviewing patients, reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and confirming the purpose of visits.
Complete physical exams to determine patient eligibility for outpatient surgery.
Educate patients as needed.
Record patient examinations, treatment, and test results to complete medical records.
