About The Position

The Unit of Student Affairs is seeking a part-time Clinical Laboratory Director to oversee the student health center clinical laboratory. The director is responsible for its overall operations and administration, regulatory compliance, the quality of testing across all phases, and ensuring personnel qualifications and competency standards are met.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in medicine.
• Medical licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Certification in anatomic or clinical pathology.
• At least 2 years of experience directing a high-complexity laboratory.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with federal and state regulations, including CLIA.
• Oversee the overall operations and administration of the student health center clinical laboratory.
• Ensure testing systems for each laboratory test provide quality services throughout the pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic phases.
• Ensure laboratory personnel meet required qualifications and competency standards.
