About The Position

The physical therapist assistant functions under the supervision of a physical therapist to provide patient care and support activities, as outlined in the patient plan of care and according to Federal and State guidelines. Our LPTA's provide 1-on-1 therapy and closely work with clinical specialists to provide quality care to our patients.

Requirements

  • Current State of Florida Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
  • AS: Associate of Science
  • PTA: Physical Therapy Assistant

Nice To Haves

  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
  • BLS: Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

  • Provide patient care and support activities, as outlined in the patient plan of care and according to Federal and State guidelines
  • Provide 1-on-1 therapy
  • Closely work with clinical specialists to provide quality care to patients
