About The Position
The Physical Therapy Institute (PTI) is a leading network of outpatient physical therapy clinics serving communities across Western Pennsylvania. We specialize in orthopedic, sports, and rehabilitation medicine, offering personalized care through innovative, evidence-based practices. At PTI, we are committed to helping patients achieve long-term health and wellness by fostering lasting relationships built on trust, compassion, and results. We are growing quickly and actively seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team immediately! We’re looking for a compassionate, energetic professional who is passionate about building a long-term career in an orthopedic private practice. This role is ideal for someone who values meaningful patient relationships and is committed to helping individuals and their families reach their health and wellness goals through high-quality physical therapy care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited two-year Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Licensed as a PTA in the state of Pennsylvania
- Physical and mental capability to meet the job’s physical demands
Nice To Haves
- Indirect supervision license preferred, not required
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care, including modalities, therapeutic exercise, and manual therapy
- Support daily documentation in a team setting
- Help patients stretch and exercise targeted muscle groups
- Read and apply Physical Therapist instructions for personalized care
- Guide patients through balance training and other therapeutic techniques
- Complete administrative tasks, including scheduling and paperwork
- Work closely with supervising Physical Therapists (indirect supervision preferred but not required)
