About The Position

Requirements

• Active pharmacy license in the state of employment.
• Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List.
• Immunization certification through an accredited organization, such as APhA.
• Must be free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff.
• Support management, oversight, and operation of pharmacy activities, including patient safety, professional practice, regulatory requirements, quality assurance, customer service, personnel, inventory, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow.
• Adopt and manage patient-care programs to help keep customers and patients healthy.
• Motivate, inspire, and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments and addressing development opportunities and knowledge gaps.
• Identify business opportunities and contribute to solutions that drive growth and improve pharmacy performance.
• Lead the team in implementing solutions and achieving specified goals.
• Adapt plans to change in a dynamic community healthcare setting.
• Collaborate with others to deliver better outcomes and align colleagues around shared purpose.
• Contribute to a caring, energetic, enthusiastic, and proud team culture.
• Apply professional knowledge to help drive healthy outcomes and differentiate CVS from competitors.
