About The Position
Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacist coordinates pharmacy department activities to provide high-quality pharmaceutical care to hospital patients while ensuring patient safety. Patient care may span General Medicine/Surgical, Intensive Care Services, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Emergency Care, Oncology, Peri-operative, Geriatrics, and Outpatient Services. Roxborough Memorial Hospital is a 131-bed community hospital serving the Roxborough, Manayunk, East Falls, and northwest Philadelphia communities. It is a member of Prime Healthcare and is accredited by The Joint Commission.
Requirements
- Current state Registered Pharmacist License.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy required.
- APhA Immunization Certification required.
- BLS certification required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in hospital pharmacy operations preferred.
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred.
- ACLS certification preferred.
Responsibilities
