About The Position

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• CRPA/CRPA-P Certification
• Experience working with diverse population and outside community sources.
• Detail oriented with professional communication skills.
• Proficient in word processing/computer operations and telephone systems.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in development of recovery plans with clients in the program.
• Assisting clients in becoming aware of existing social and other support service in the community.
• Modeling coping skills
• Assisting clients with applying for benefits
• Accompanying Clients to medical appointments
• Providing Clients with non-clinical crisis support, especially after periods of hospitalization or incarceration
• Working with clients to identify strengths
• Link clients to formal recovery supports
• Educating clients about the various modes of recovery they will experience
• Travel training – informing clients about local transportation options and how to best access and utilize them.
