Responsibilities
- Efficiently picking up and delivering parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors.
- Coordinating with the parts manager and other key personnel to integrate last-minute pick-ups or deliveries into the schedule.
- Supporting the body shop by identifying immediate parts needs and delivering them directly to the appropriate body technicians.
- Verifying that invoices match purchase orders and accounting for payments received for each delivery.
- Maintaining an accurate log of daily deliveries and requiring recipient signatures.
- Keeping the parts manager informed about any major repairs or maintenance needs for the delivery trucks.
