About The Position

Requirements

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience required
• Working knowledge of New York CPLR and litigation procedures
• Experience with NYSCEF and EDDS e-filing systems required
• Experience handling discovery management and trial preparation
• Familiarity with Statements of Net Worth and financial disclosure documents
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently and proactively manage assignments
• Experience entering and tracking billable time

Nice To Haves

• Experience in divorce and family law litigation strongly preferred
• Connecticut e-filing experience is a plus
• Experience preparing child support calculations preferred
• ABA-accredited Paralegal Certificate preferred
• Prior experience managing case flow and support staff is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of matrimonial and family law litigation
• Prepare, organize, and file legal documents through NYSCEF and EDDS
• Draft and manage discovery demands, responses, and document productions
• Assist with Statements of Net Worth and financial disclosure documentation
• Prepare child support calculations and related financial materials
• Coordinate with courts, opposing counsel, clients, and expert witnesses
• Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness preparation, and case organization
• Manage case calendars, deadlines, and litigation workflow
• Maintain accurate billing entries and track billable time
• Organize electronic and physical case files for efficient case management
