About The Position

Requirements

• Occupational Therapist license and registration by the state.
• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist program.
• Ability and enthusiasm to work with people of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services in accordance with applicable state laws, the plan of care, and coordination with the health care team.
• Assess and evaluate patients’ functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor coordination, home environment, adaptive equipment needs, and other occupational therapy needs.
• Determine a treatment plan based on assessment and evaluation.
• Provide therapeutic, creative, and self-care activities to improve patient functioning and safety.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment and changes in condition.
• Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and health care team members in therapy activities they can use to assist the patient.
• Evaluate patient progress.
