About The Position

Sprenger Therapy is the in-house rehabilitation team for Sprenger Health Care Systems, a third-generation, family-owned senior living organization. This PRN Occupational Therapist role is based at Elms Retirement Village in Wellington, Ohio. The organization describes its clinician-led and clinician-supported in-house model as focused on resident needs, protected therapy time, clinical autonomy, mentorship, and a stable, family-oriented culture. The Occupational Therapist provides patient-centered care to help residents restore function, independence, and quality of life while working with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team. New graduates are welcome, with mentorship provided from day one.

Requirements

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Successful completion of the National Certification Examination for OTR.
Current OT license or license-eligible.
Commitment to patient-first, outcomes-driven care.
Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Provide occupational therapy services focused on restoring function, independence, and quality of life.
Conduct screenings and identify residents who would benefit from intervention.
Supervise and collaborate with COTA staff, as applicable.
Initiate referrals when appropriate in accordance with department procedures.
Document clearly and efficiently in support of quality outcomes.
