Quality Programs Data Specialist

About The Position
Compass Oncology is hiring a Quality Programs Data Specialist to support Quality and Value Based Care initiatives through data management, reporting, and performance monitoring. This remote role analyzes and translates data into actionable insights that support clinical, operational, and leadership decision making while helping drive quality improvement and workflow efficiency. Occasional site visits may be required based on business needs. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail oriented, and skilled at managing data, identifying trends, and supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The position is full-time at 32 hours per week, with a salary range of $21.10–$35.60. The work location is remote, with occasional site visits at the Compass Business Office in Vancouver, Washington. The role provides administrative support for quality projects and the Quality Programs Manager, monitors and audits beneficiary data, supports chart reviews and program performance monitoring, and helps compile and present data. It also includes communicating with quality team members to resolve data-management issues, supporting office forms and software updates, and maintaining organized files.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least three years of office administration or related experience; experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data queries, and pivot tables.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, including the ability to interpret complex data and clearly communicate findings to diverse audiences.
Nice To Haves
- Data science certification or an associate degree in business or a related field.
- Experience in data analysis, including data collection, validation, interpretation, and identifying performance trends.
- Experience with Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
- Experience developing automated data tracking and reporting processes to improve workflow efficiency.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for special projects, including research, compiling data, and preparing summary reports.
- Monitor and audit beneficiary data for compliance and program performance, ensuring documentation and data elements are entered and resolved promptly.
- Monitor program performance in accordance with participating program standards and guidelines.
- Assist with chart reviews related to compliance with value-based care program standards and guidelines.
- Compile data and create graphs and charts to demonstrate data performance.
- Communicate with quality team members to identify and resolve problems related to data management and the success of network and practice-level initiatives.
- Perform administrative duties in support of the Quality Programs Manager.
- Assist with designing and implementing office forms using knowledge of software applications, and update forms as needed.
- Maintain organized and accessible files by updating information, regularly purging files, and creating filing systems as needed.
- Perform additional assigned tasks.
