About The Position

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Minnesota; current Minnesota occupational therapy licensure is required.
• NBCOT certification as an OTR is required upon hiring and must be maintained through ongoing certification every three years.
• Demonstrated skills in organization, communication, interpersonal relations, leadership, decision making, and problem solving.

Nice To Haves

• Board certification in a clinical specialty area and/or an advanced degree in a health care field.
• Active participation within a professional organization.

Responsibilities

• Apply current knowledge, theory, evidence, and sound clinical judgment in patient management.
• Work with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to provide efficient, effective, individualized patient care.
• Advocate for and promote health, wellness, and fitness to stakeholders.
• Educate and mentor therapy students, peers, and other medical professionals.
• Assist with department and program planning.
