About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. The CNA is an important member of the interdisciplinary team and delivers direct care, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, as directed. The role supports quality patient care and helps make a difference in the lives of patients and their family members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduation from a state-approved CNA program.
- Currently registered or licensed in the applicable state and maintain an active license in good standing throughout employment.
- CPR certification upon hire or obtained during orientation; certification must remain current during employment.
Nice To Haves
- One year of skilled nursing experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
- Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, feeding, grooming, and toileting, as directed.
- Make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
- Communicate and function productively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain professional working relationships with associates, vendors, and others.
