About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) supports individuals by providing compassionate care and promoting independence in a supportive environment. The role monitors individuals’ health and well-being, assists with daily living activities, supports community involvement and social interaction, and helps maintain a safe, high-quality care environment. The CNA also assists with activities and appointments, keeps accurate care documentation, and helps with meal preparation and light housekeeping. The position is located in Greensburg, Kentucky, and is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $12 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
CPR and First Aid certification.
At least 18 years of age.
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
Compassionate attitude and commitment to providing high-quality care.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of CNA experience is preferred, ideally supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in hospital, residential, clinical, or long-term care settings.

Responsibilities

Monitor the health and well-being of individuals served and report changes to appropriate medical staff.
Provide assistance, supervision, and training with daily living activities, including personal care, hygiene, and mobility support.
Support individuals with financial management, community involvement, and social interaction.
Help maintain a safe, supportive, and high-quality environment for individuals receiving care.
Assist with activity programs, including community outings and medical appointments.
Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and care records.
Assist with household responsibilities such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
