About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant supports residents by recording and checking vital signs, reminding patients to take medications and nutritional supplements as needed, and maintaining precise records in patient charts. The role is part of a team environment focused on staff development, collaboration, appreciation, and a clean, efficient workplace. Employees may meet with the Director of Nursing and HR, and tour the facility to learn about career opportunities and benefits.

Requirements

• Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant Program is required.
• Clear and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure in the state of practice is required.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, or related experience and/or training.
• Successful completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification course.

Responsibilities

• Record vital signs, including blood pressure and pulse rate, as requested by staff.
• Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements as needed.
• Check patient vital signs daily and keep precise records in the patient's chart.
• Participate in or conduct company-sponsored training to safeguard residents' protected health information.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and state and federal law.
