About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works in the Nursing Administration Department as an unlicensed assistive person. Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit, the CNA assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Possess knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Provide basic nursing care to non-critical patients.
- Assist in maintaining a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit.
