About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) works in the Nursing Administration Department as an unlicensed assistive person. Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit, the CNA assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment. This is a full-time, night-shift role at Paradise Valley Hospital.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintained as current.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- At least six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office is preferred.
- Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within six months of hire and maintained as current per facility requirement.
Responsibilities
