About The Position
Paradise Valley Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for its Nursing Administration Department. The CNA is an unlicensed assistive person who assists with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care to non-critical patients, and helps maintain a safe environment under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Paradise Valley Hospital is a 291-bed acute care hospital serving the San Diego community. Its services include a spine and joint center, acute rehabilitation, cardiac catheterization, inpatient and outpatient surgery, emergency services, and behavioral health services.
Requirements
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant certificate upon hire.
- Current BLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum six months of previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician’s office is preferred.
- Current Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certificate within six months of hire and maintained current per facility requirements.
