About The Position

Touching Hearts at Home is hiring compassionate, reliable, and experienced Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for two part-time client assignments in Fort Myers and Punta Gorda, Florida. The assignments offer consistent weekly schedules and one-on-one care in a supportive work environment. Applicants may apply for either or both locations. The Fort Myers assignment is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM, for 16 hours per week. The Punta Gorda assignment is scheduled Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, for 12 hours per week.

Requirements

  • HHA training or CNA certification.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Compassionate, professional, and dependable demeanor.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to commit to a consistent weekly schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous caregiving experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support.
  • Assist with activities of daily living and personal care as needed.
  • Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping.
  • Support mobility, safety, and daily routines.
  • Provide medication reminders when appropriate.
  • Assist with transportation and errands as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and positive environment.
