Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)- Private Duty Home Care
About The Position
BAYADA is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants for private-duty home care, with immediate openings supporting clients in their homes in Bethesda, Potomac, Rockville, and Gaithersburg. Caregivers help clients maintain their independence by providing compassionate, high-quality, individualized care. The role includes personal care, mobility assistance, health monitoring, light household tasks, medication assistance, and structured support tailored to each patient. Caregivers may also assist with behavioral management strategies when needed. Availability is requested for weekdays, weekends, and overnight shifts. The posting lists pay of $18.00–$20.00 per hour, paid weekly. Requirements
- At least one year of professional work experience in a healthcare setting.
- Certificate showing completion of at least 75 hours of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training.
- Current, active CNA license in good standing with the state board.
- Compassionate, reliable, patient-centered work ethic.
- Open availability Monday through Friday, weekends, and overnights.

- Bilingual ability in Spanish, ASL, Russian, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), Arabic, or another language.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral feeding.
- Help clients with ambulation and transfers.
- Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration, and guide range-of-motion exercises.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, and bed-making.
- Assist clients with taking their daily medication.
- Provide structured support tailored to the patient.
- Assist with behavioral management strategies when necessary.
