CNA / Certified Nursing Assistant - Private Duty
About The Position
Adoration Private Duty is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide expert, patient-centered care in Brownsville, Tennessee. The position provides one-to-one care in patients’ homes and offers flexible scheduling, independent work with team support, and opportunities for advancement. The CNA works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, documents care in HomeCare HomeBase EMR, and assists clients with personal care and home management. Personal care may include hygiene and grooming, feeding, ambulation, medical monitoring, and other basic health-related tasks. Home management may include basic housekeeping and shopping.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record, as defined by agency policy.
- CNA or Home Health Care Aide certification if required by state licensure in the state where care is provided.
- Ability to use proper body mechanics while lifting; may be expected to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for periods of time, and bend, stoop, push, pull, and reach.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Complete proper documentation using HomeCare HomeBase EMR.
- Assist clients with personal care or home management tasks.
- Assist with basic personal hygiene and grooming, feeding, and ambulation.
- Provide medical monitoring and other basic health care-related tasks.
- Perform basic housekeeping, shopping, and related home management tasks.
