About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide private-duty home care to clients in Columbia and Ellicott City. CNAs are valued members of the home care team and receive support from a 24/7 on-call clinical manager. The role offers a base pay of $17–$19 per hour, depending on qualifications, along with weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and efforts to match employees with opportunities near home. Benefits eligibility varies by average hours worked: employees averaging at least 30 hours per week over a three-month measurement period may qualify for group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits; those working fewer than 30 hours per week may qualify for Minimum or Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans. Other offerings include paid time off and scholarship programs. The position requires at least one year of work experience and a current CNA license in good standing with the board.

Requirements

Responsibilities

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
Provide range-of-motion exercises and assist with transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
Assist with oral feeding and ambulation.
Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
Perform home-management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
Provide medication assistance.
