About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide private-duty home care to clients in Columbia and Ellicott City. CNAs are valued members of the home care team and receive clinical manager support around the clock. The role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities intended to be near the employee’s home. Base pay is $17–$19 per hour, depending on qualifications.

Employees working an average of 30 hours per week over a three-month measurement period are eligible for BAYADA group medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision benefits. Employees working fewer than 30 hours per week are eligible for Minimum and Enhanced Minimum Coverage Plans. Requirements

• At least one year of work experience.
• Current CNA license in good standing with the board.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Provide light housekeeping.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
• Assist with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
• Assist with transfers and use mechanical lifting devices.
• Provide oral feeding assistance.
• Check vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and respiration.
• Perform home management tasks such as laundry, meal preparation, and bed making.
• Assist clients with ambulation.
• Provide medication assistance.
