About The Position

Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited school (RN required).
• Valid RN license in the state of Illinois (or ability to obtain one).
• 3+ years of experience as an ADON in long-term care.
• 1–3 years of supervisory experience in skilled, acute, restorative, or geriatric care.
• Knowledge of MDS, care planning, and regulatory processes.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to run reports, enter data, etc.
• Passion for people, purpose, and providing the best care possible.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and supervising the nursing team with leadership, guidance, and motivation.
• Making clinical decisions to ensure residents receive the best care.
• Ensuring staff provide top-quality care that meets all regulations.
• Monitoring medications, treatment plans, and documentation for consistency and thoroughness.
• Assisting with budgeting, scheduling, and operational efficiency of the nursing department.
• Hiring, training, and mentoring new team members.
• Playing a key role in quality assurance, surveys, and safety compliance.
• Maintaining close contact with physicians and the Medical Director for seamless care.
• Ensuring compliance with state regulations.
