About The Position
Juniper Village at the Spearly Center is a 130-bed skilled nursing facility specializing in behavioral and mental health. The facility aims to provide residents with a home-like environment that supports engagement, safety, independence, and compassionate care. Care aides are an important part of the team and provide physical support to residents. The posting lists a full-time 2 p.m.–10 p.m. shift and part-time shifts of 6 a.m.–2 p.m. on Friday and Saturday or 2 p.m.–10 p.m. Pay starts at $24 per hour, with higher rates based on experience. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
Nice To Haves
- One year of caregiving experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents as needed with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, and continence management.
- Assist residents with securing transportation, making and keeping appointments, using the telephone, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
- Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families.
- Provide excellent customer service.
