About The Position

Quinault Community Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our rapidly growing Quick Care Clinic in Aberdeen, Washington. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of walk-in healthcare in our community while enjoying a 4-day, 10-hour work schedule that includes either Saturday and/or Sunday. The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive medical care for patients presenting with acute illnesses, minor injuries, and preventive healthcare needs in our growing Quick Care Clinic. This provider independently evaluates, diagnoses, treats, educates, and manages patients while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff to deliver exceptional patient-centered care.

Requirements

  • Licensed Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) in good standing with the State of Washington
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills
  • Knowledge of current primary care and urgent care practices
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, culturally responsive patient care
  • Valid Washington State Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license
  • Valid Washington State Registered Nurse license
  • Valid Washington State Driver's License
  • Must be insurable under the organization's vehicle insurance policy

Nice To Haves

  • One to three years of experience in Primary Care, Quick Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Medicine
  • Experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) or rural healthcare setting

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations.
  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses and minor injuries.
  • Prescribe medications and therapeutic treatments within scope of practice.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
  • Provide preventive healthcare education and counseling.
  • Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
  • Coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and quality standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education.
  • Support evidence-based practice and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a collaborative leader within the clinic.
  • Perform clinical duties within Washington State ARNP scope of practice.
  • Promote Quinault Community Health's mission, vision, and values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
