About The Position

Requirements

• Hold a Certified Nursing Assistant certification issued by the State of Idaho, maintain a current Nurse Apprentice application on file with the Idaho State Board of Nursing, or complete the Trinity Nursing Assistant Program.
• Have Basic Life Support certification for Healthcare Providers from AHA, ARC, or the Military Training Network at hire, unless currently certified in ACLS and/or PALS as defined in the SAHS Certification Crosswalk.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to competently care for assigned age groups: neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric, as applicable.
• Be flexible to work a varied schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of Certified Nursing Assistant experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical staff at the unit level by performing clerical duties.
• Perform receptionist duties and coordinate patient services.
• Provide nursing care and related non-professional services to meet patients’ personal needs and comfort.
• Provide care under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.
