About The Position

Requirements

• Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational ability, and decision-making ability.
• Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, internet, and email applications.
• Demonstrated advanced math skills.
• Experience transcribing information quickly and accurately.
• Ability to communicate verbally and hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
• Manual dexterity to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a healthcare setting or completion of nutrition-related college-level coursework.
• Experience with nutrient analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Collect nutrition screening information and manage nutrition tasks for technicians and dietitians.
• Gather and analyze nutrition data.
• Perform calorie counts.
• Document patient information in the electronic health record according to established protocols.
• Interact and problem-solve with clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Provide nutrition care and education to patients and the community under the direction of an RDN.
• Perform various functions in the NICU under the direction of an RDN.
• Participate in department continuous quality improvement projects.
• Provide exceptional customer service in all customer interactions.
• Complete business functions as established by the department.
