About The Position

The Transporter is responsible for safe, efficient transportation of patients throughout the hospital. This position makes decisions both independently and in collaboration with nurses and licensed ancillary caregivers. The Transporter has direct patient contact, access to confidential patient information, and may work collaboratively with a variety of disciplines.

Requirements

  • CPR- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification.
  • NVCI - Non-violent Crisis Intervention Certification.
