Pharmacy Tech - NICU

About The Position
Assists pharmacists in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders. Performs technical duties related to handling, packaging, and delivering pharmaceuticals. Provides patient care services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The NICU Pharmacy operates seven days per week, with varied shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m., weekend rotation, and holiday requirements. Work hours are 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia.
- One year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA).
- Neonatal/pediatric intravenous medication compounding using USP 797 aseptic technique.
- Non-sterile medication compounding experience.
