About The Position

Requirements

• Washington State Radiologic Technologist License - required (Washington State X-Ray License, ARRT.)
• Current Advanced Registry in CT - required
• Current certification in a healthcare provider BLS/CPR - required
• Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing both themselves and the company positively while building respectful relationships with patients, colleagues, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Properly performs a variety of technical exams and procedures to ACR and company standards using required skill and independent judgement
• Utilizes a multi-slice CT scanner and power injector. Starts IVs and administers various contrast agents at the direction of the Radiologist
• Assists radiologist with specialized procedures
• Appropriately protocols and screens all orders in advance of appointments for precautions or contraindications
• Organizes and monitors patient flow to meet company productivity, quality, health and safety standards
• Provides patient care services in a professional and compassionate manner
• Ability to de-escalate conflict situations with minimal supervisory assistance but able to recognize when a situation is beyond individual training/scope and requires assistance
• Ability to physically assist patients to obtain high quality imaging
