About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• Knowledge of healthcare facility planning, construction, renovation, capital project delivery, clinical workflows, and medical equipment requirements.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering documents, coordinate equipment infrastructure needs, and apply relevant healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and building codes.
• Strong project management, budgeting, procurement, analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicable project, construction, and equipment-planning systems.
• Experience using Bluebeam for creating, editing, marking up, collaborating on, and sharing PDF documents.

Nice To Haves

• Autodesk AutoCAD experience.
• Autodesk Revit experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive medical equipment inventories for healthcare construction and renovation projects.
• Participate in medical equipment planning with physicians, nurses, operational leaders, and departmental stakeholders to support clinical workflows and patient care needs.
• Develop and manage medical equipment budgets, cost estimates, forecasts, and capital equipment purchases.
• Identify opportunities for equipment reuse, replacement, standardization, and cost savings.
• Coordinate medical equipment requirements with architects, engineers, contractors, information technology, clinical engineering, supply chain, and vendors.
• Review architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, technology, and medical gas documents to identify and resolve equipment-related conflicts.
• Manage equipment procurement activities, including specifications, vendor coordination, quotation review, and long-lead item tracking.
• Develop and monitor equipment procurement, delivery, installation, and activation schedules aligned with project milestones.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, staging, assembly, installation, testing, training, and turnover activities.
• Support facility activation, operational readiness, and go-live efforts to ensure equipment is functional and ready for patient care.
• Develop and maintain systemwide medical equipment and clinical space layout standards, room templates, and equipment placement guidelines.
• Develop, maintain, and analyze systemwide medical equipment standards using Premier data and utilization trends to support design consistency and procurement efficiency.
