About The Position
DARCARS Collision Center is hiring an Auto Body Technician / Mechanic to repair damaged vehicle bodies and components according to manufacturer and dealership specifications and time standards. The position is intended for motivated people who take pride in high-quality workmanship and want to build a long-term career in automotive collision repair. Compensation is advertised as $100,000 or more per year, based on experience. The employee will perform the duties listed and may also be asked by a supervisor to follow other instructions or perform additional duties. Employment is at will, and offers are contingent on successfully passing pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check and review of consumer and motor vehicle records, as well as Social Security number verification. Requirements
- Previous automotive or collision repair experience is preferred.
- CSI and quality scores above the regional average are preferred.
- Ability to perform vehicle repair and maintenance services efficiently.
- Team-oriented, with the ability to work on repetitive and complex tasks.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
- Must pass pre-employment screening, including background checks and reviews of consumer and motor vehicle records, and verification of Social Security number.

Responsibilities
- Perform work detailed on vehicle repair orders in accordance with manufacturer standards.
- De-trim, disassemble, and repair vehicles with urgency and strong attention to detail.
- Maintain and assist with identifying and sourcing parts and materials.
- Meet or exceed the Collision Center’s productivity requirements.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting body shop operations, including hazardous waste disposal and OSHA Right-to-Know.
- Follow other instructions and perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by a supervisor.
