About The Position
As a Maintenance Mechanic at Toledo Hospital, you create safe and welcoming environments for patients, visitors, and employees. You perform general maintenance and repairs of hospital facilities and mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and pneumatic equipment. You monitor and inspect work to ensure compliance with codes and regulations. On-call hours may be required as needed. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, or a trade school diploma or technical school degree.
- Working knowledge of electricity, fire safety codes, refrigeration, and air conditioning codes.
- 1–2 years of previous experience in similar positions in an institutional setting.
