About The Position

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you help create safe and welcoming environments for patients, visitors, and employees. You perform general maintenance and repairs on hospital facilities and mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and pneumatic equipment. You monitor and inspect work to ensure compliance with applicable codes and regulations. On-call hours may be required as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a trade school diploma or degree from a technical school.
• Working knowledge of electricity, fire safety codes, refrigeration, and air conditioning codes.
• 1–2 years of previous experience in similar positions in an institutional setting.

• Licensed or certified in one or more trades or disciplines.
