About The Position

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to managing a $1.5M commercial book of business, working with a variety of carriers and industries. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial lines insurance, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to providing exceptional service to valued clients.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines insurance
  • Familiarity with Applied Systems software is required
  • Ability to quickly adapt and contribute to the team
  • Strong sense of loyalty and commitment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

Nice To Haves

  • 5-6 years of experience in commercial lines insurance preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage a $1.5M commercial book of business, including contractors, BOPs, restaurants, workers' compensation, and professional liability accounts
  • Work with carriers such as Travelers, Frankenmuth, Accident Fund, Great American, CHUBB, and Michigan Millers
  • Quote new and renewal business
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment
