CRM Manager for Recruitment, Admissions, and Orientation

About The Position

Tri County Technical College is seeking a CRM Manager to ensure CRM systems and processes supporting Recruitment, Admissions, and Orientation (RAO) are effectively maintained, utilized, and continuously improved. This role involves translating departmental needs into effective CRM processes, communications, reporting, and system functionality, in collaboration with the Director of Recruitment, Admissions, and Orientation and the Director of CRM Optimization and Strategy. The CRM Manager will partner with the collegewide CRM team to align RAO practices with institutional CRM strategy and standards. The position also supports data-informed decision-making by maintaining reliable CRM data and reporting, identifying trends, and providing analysis of key enrollment indicators to RAO leadership. The role contributes to a community of practice focused on collaboration, continuous learning, and student-centered improvement.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and professional experience involving the collection, analysis, interpretation and presentation of quantified data.
  • Proactive self-starter who works well both independently and as part of a team, overseeing projects through successful outcomes.
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving, execution, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to understand systems and department operations matching needs of the college and department to system functionality.
  • Understanding the interconnectedness of the systems, structures, and data with an enterprise CRM platform and other enterprise systems.
  • Abilities in conditional logic and basic report writing.
  • Ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to present technical solutions to any audience.
  • Ability to work with people with varying technical skills and effectively communicate complex concepts.
  • Skilled in connecting complex information and developing creative solutions while maintaining strict adherence to data governance standards.

Nice To Haves

  • A master's degree in statistics may be substituted for the required work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the functional lead for CRM processes supporting the TargetX Recruitment Suite.
  • Build, maintain, and manage communications on behalf of RAO within the CRM platform, ensuring communications are accurate, timely, consistent, and aligned with departmental enrollment goals and the student experience.
  • Coordinate with departments across the College to align student communications, minimize unnecessary duplication or overlap, and support a consistent student experience throughout the enrollment process.
  • Ensure CRM functionality supporting each enrollment term is appropriately configured and ready for use, including admissions applications, communication plans, events, and related processes.
  • Collaborate with the collegewide CRM team and other stakeholders on system enhancements, institutional communication strategies, and CRM initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and continuously improve CRM processes and workflows that support recruitment, admissions, orientation, and enrollment operations.
  • Maintain strong data governance and quality standards, including monitoring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across RAO processes.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that support operational needs and strategic decision-making.
  • Analyze CRM data to identify trends, process gaps, and opportunities to improve efficiency and the student experience.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather requirements, address operational needs, and implement effective solutions.
  • Continuously evaluate CRM-related procedures and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for manual and automated processes to promote continuity, consistency, and effective system use.
  • Develop and maintain guides, procedures, and training resources for RAO CRM functionality.
  • Serve as the primary CRM trainer and functional resource for RAO staff.
  • Support the planning, testing, implementation, and evaluation of system and process improvements.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and shared understanding of CRM processes and best practices.
  • Provide functional support and initial troubleshooting for CRM systems and processes used by RAO, including recruitment, admissions, communications, and event management functionality.
  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to investigate technical issues, coordinate system modifications and upgrades, and assess impacts to departmental operations and the student experience.
  • Participate in testing and validation of CRM changes prior to implementation and communicate relevant changes to RAO staff.
  • Maintain working knowledge of RAO policies, procedures, and enrollment services to ensure CRM processes and solutions effectively support departmental operations and the student experience.
  • Actively contribute to a community of practice focused on collaboration, continuous learning, and student-centered improvement.
  • Build effective working relationships across RAO, Student Affairs, and the College to support coordinated enrollment services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
