About The Position
Soltex is looking for a Maintenance Worker to join our team in Baytown, Texas. This hands-on position is responsible for performing facility maintenance, preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, repairs, and general facility upkeep to support safe, efficient, and reliable terminal operations at our Baytown facility. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience working with tools and industrial equipment, and a commitment to safety.
Requirements
- Strong mechanical aptitude required
- Willingness and ability to learn company-specific equipment, procedures, and safety requirements
- Dependable, hardworking, and able to take initiative
- Ability to identify equipment issues and communicate repair or improvement recommendations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Nice To Haves
- Experience or exposure in areas such as I&E, industrial maintenance, millwright work, mechanical repair, equipment maintenance, pumps, valves, piping, forklifts, or general facility maintenance
- Prior experience or exposure in industrial maintenance, I&E, millwright work, mechanical repair, or related maintenance work preferred
