About The Position

Requirements

• Associate’s degree.
• Proven experience (2+ years) as maintenance or facilities technician.
• Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
• Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating, plumbing, etc.)
• Intermediate to advanced computers skills required in Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
• Understanding of budgeting and performance management.
• Eagle eye for details.
• Paint and drywall finishing.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well-organized and apt in problem-solving.
• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment.
• Advanced English is required.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Spanish or Creole is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Report, document, and resolve maintenance issues using the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Perform hands-on maintenance work and basic repairs related to building systems and fixtures.
• Assist with minor repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems within assigned responsibilities and training.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests.
• Monitor inventory of maintenance supplies, materials, and tools; complete required daily reports through CMMS.
• Coordinate and oversee third-party vendors during installations, repairs, or maintenance activities.
• Define scopes of work for vendors, including tasks, timelines, and expected outcomes.
• Conduct site inspections and walk-throughs to monitor progress and identify issues during maintenance or facility projects.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, project updates, and any issues encountered.
• Follow established safety policies and procedures at all times.
