About The Position
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for routine preventative maintenance, assistance with furniture and equipment moves, routine testing of equipment, alarms, and gauges, landscape care and support to the Maintenance Director in environmental and safety support activities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous maintenance experience preferred
- Some experience in air conditions, heating, ventilating, electrical, and plumbing, boiler and chiller operations, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics preferred.
- Nursing home experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs floor and building repairs
- Performs preventative maintenance as assigned
- Assists with routine testing of equipment, alarms, safety systems and other items required to promote a safe and comfortable environment.
- Completed exterior building maintenance
- Supports facilities manager in environmental and safety support activities
- Completes maintenance checks and longs monthly as defined
- Performs equipment assembly and troubleshooting as required.
