About The Position
The Maintenance Technician performs preventative maintenance and repairs, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting on equipment to meet required regulations and scheduling. This role also involves building-related installation and maintenance, such as furniture assembly, data/power installations, and lighting repair. The technician will maintain the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the property by painting and refurbishing areas. Additionally, they will monitor and maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications, and use a variety of hand and power tools, including a forklift and other heavy equipment. Daily communication with the Maintenance Supervisor and team regarding repairs, faulty operations, defective materials, or parts, and incident reports is expected. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 0 to 2 years of related experience
- Knowledge of industrial electricity, including single-phase and three-phase power, motors, protective devices and/or photo sensors
- Willing and able to climb to the 40-foot level to make repairs with or without reasonable accommodation
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Conveyor systems is highly desired
- Electrical Certification or Vocational Certification
