About The Position
HiFyve is hiring Plant Maintenance Technicians to support industrial water and wastewater treatment facilities. This is a hands-on maintenance position working with pumps, motors, valves, blowers, piping, HVAC, electrical systems, and other plant equipment. Opportunities are available for entry-level through experienced maintenance professionals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance or skilled trades experience
- Ability to safely work around industrial equipment and plant operations
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions
- Ability to perform physical maintenance work, including lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and working in confined spaces
- Ability to obtain the required Plant Maintenance Technologist certification within 24 months of employment
Nice To Haves
- 1+ year of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical maintenance, or similar experience preferred (for Technician I)
- 2+ years of relevant water/wastewater, facility, industrial maintenance, or related skilled trades experience (for Technician II)
- 5+ years of relevant water/wastewater, facility, industrial maintenance, or related experience (for Technician III)
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial plant equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, mixers, blowers, valves, actuators, piping, and related systems
- Assist with mechanical, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and mobile equipment safely
- Inspect equipment and identify developing maintenance or reliability issues
- Complete maintenance documentation and update work records in the asset management system
- Coordinate with operations, maintenance personnel, vendors, and contractors
- Travel between local plant facilities as needed
- Participate in an on-call rotation and occasional overtime
