About The Position

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in any field - REQUIRED.
• Ability to operate computer and related equipment (pads, tablets, PCs, etc.) – REQUIRED.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Minimum formal education of a high school diploma.
• Valid driver's license required to drive company licensed vehicles.
• Continuous teamwork as well as internal and cross-departmental communication.

Nice To Haves

• Accreditations, certifications, or licenses in pertinent fields of engineering expertise (structural, mechanical, and/or electrical engineering / plumbing and wastewater systems / HVAC / general maintenance / carpentry / painting / small equipment repair / vehicle maintenance / etc.).

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance in: Guestrooms, Meeting rooms, Public spaces
• Flip/inspect mattresses, box springs and assemble bed frames, vacuum behind and underneath furniture, spot clean carpets and upholstery, dusting, touch-up painting, touch-up furniture and woodwork ensure that all necessary hardware and appliances are present in the room and in working order, replace light fixtures, and inspect and repair grout and caulking.
• Maintain, repair, and clean all guest rooms and public spaces in accordance with the Resort's preventative maintenance procedures and standard guidelines.
• Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, securing bathroom accessories, changing light bulbs, patching holes in walls, etc.
• Perform general cleaning of all surfaces to include tub, wall tile, hard floors, walls, windows, mirrors, countertops, cabinetry, furniture, etc.
• Report any serious maintenance problems, unusual findings, or safety hazards immediately to manager/supervisor.
