The Maintenance Planner is responsible for developing and managing engineering maintenance schedules for the plant, prioritizing and scheduling preventative maintenance in coordination with Production Supervisors and Managers. This role involves inputting and maintaining maintenance data in SAP PM, developing PM instructions, and generating/analyzing maintenance KPIs. The planner will also analyze the parts inventory system, assist with parts transactions, and maintain accurate inventory records. Utilizing TPM to deliver maintenance initiatives, responsible for maintenance data capture and reporting, and maintaining records such as contracts, agreements, costs, and budget information are key aspects of this position. Additionally, the role provides expertise with the computer-based maintenance management system (CMMS) for work orders in SAP, assists buyers with ordering materials, supports regulatory and corporate standards, and develops training activities. Analyzing total cost of ownership for equipment and reviewing PM tasks with technicians are also important duties.
