About The Position

We are seeking Maintenance Electricians to join our Duraflake wood products mill. These roles offer an hourly rate of $42.82 - $53.00, together with a competitive benefits package. There are specialized roles including Dayshift Maintenance Electricians, Shift Maintenance Electricians, and LME Shift Maintenance Electricians. If you’re a seasoned electrician with solid tenure, we encourage you to apply — as experience and background are carefully being considered and may be eligible for additional compensation considerations beyond the posted ranges.

Requirements

  • Oregon Electrician’s license required (Plant Journeyman or Journeyman preferred) or license from a reciprocal state (OR, WA, ID, WY, MN, UT, ME, AR).
  • AC & DC motor control experience (including drives) required.
  • Electrical troubleshooting experience required.
  • Ability to use standard test and troubleshooting equipment (DMM, VOM, Megger, etc.).
  • Ability to troubleshoot with PLC’s (Allen Bradley Control Logix).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • LME candidates will be considered, based on level of experience.
  • Strong industrial mechanical millwright experience/skills preferred.
  • Familiarity with the basic functions of a CMMS system preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform electrical troubleshooting.
  • Work with PLC's (Allen Bradley Control Logix).
  • Perform millwright duties as part of their regular job duties.
  • Work at heights.
  • Work extended hours and rotating shift as required.
  • Move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery.
  • Bend, stoop, and crouch as necessary to inspect and maintain equipment.
  • Lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform physical tasks that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects.
  • Stand and walk for extended periods, often in environments with dust, chemicals, high noise levels and varying temperatures.
