About The Position

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Willingness to follow directions and work well in a team.
• Ability to interpret and translate job specifications for production machinery.
• Fundamental understanding of production equipment, or the ability to learn it quickly.
• Typically, a high school diploma or equivalent and 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stoop, bend, and move about the plant for up to 8 hours per day.
• Steel-toe shoes are required.

Responsibilities

• Operate routine production machinery according to provided prints and specifications.
• Perform routine activities to produce the required quantity of parts within established specifications and tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools to confirm they meet functional, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
• Maintain logs and records of units produced.
• Report errors that result in rejected or discarded pieces.
• Inspect equipment before use to ensure proper setup and alignment; perform basic routine adjustments and maintenance.
• Clean and lubricate equipment routinely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area in accordance with 5S standards.
• Follow all safety regulations.
• Package products according to customer specifications.
• Help in other areas as needed and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
