About The Position
We are seeking an LTL Billing & Audit Specialist to join our Billing and Audit team. This role ensures accurate and timely freight billing, rate integrity, and audit compliance within an LTL transportation environment.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of LTL billing and auditing
- Experience with CLI and AS400 systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
Responsibilities
- Review and process unbilled freight in Acordex
- Monitor and resolve 'Billing To Be Created' transactions
- Bill incoming freight, including reconsignments, returns, and diversions
- Apply missed accessorial, detention, or lumper charges when supported by documentation
- Conduct daily CLI/AS400 audits
- Audit billers’ work and document discrepancies
- Process billing adjustments, rate corrections, inspections, and reweighs
- Communicate with customers, terminals, and internal teams
- Assist with spreadsheets, pricing reviews, and partner bill processing
- Perform additional duties as assigned
