About The Position

Warehouse Services, Inc. is seeking qualified Material Handlers - Pickers, Manual Lumpers to work within our Tire distribution center in San Bernardino. This role involves heavy work and requires sit-down and stand-up forklift experience. The starting pay is $19.75 per hour. The position offers opportunities for growth within the company. Final candidates must possess a solid work history, pass pre-employment background and post-offer drug screen/physical. Requirements

Sit-down and stand-up forklift experience
Cherry Picker and sit down experience needed
Ability to manually move and lift up to 55 pounds continuously.
Basic math, English and computer skills required.

Nice To Haves

Forklift certification preferred.
Excellent organizational skills required.
Prior experience with RF Scan guns helpful.

Responsibilities

Load/unload trucks - by hand and with equipment
Operate material handling equipment
Identify, hold and segregate defective or damage material
Complete paperwork per work instructions as required
Perform receiving and shipping inspections and identifies all incoming and outgoing material shipments to determine: a) quantity is as ordered b) no damage is apparent, and c) documentation is available as required.
Perform physical material inventories to establish, maintain, and document the receipt, shipment and control.
Maintain a positive working relationship across WSI operations facility, with the ability to communicate effectively with senior operations leaders.
Other duties as assigned.
