About The Position

Requirements

• Must be licensed (or eligible for licensure) in MN.

Responsibilities

• Makes regular rounds observing resident condition, vital signs, assessing findings, planning resident nursing care, and recording pertinent information
• Accurate administration of medication and treatment as prescribed by physician.
• Assists physician during rounds in absence of Care Coordinator to facilitate communication.
• Instructs residents on their treatments and medication to promote resident understanding and continuity of care.
• Provides necessary support to LPN’s and CNA’s to ensure they are able to perform their work.
• Supervises the care by LPNs and CNAs to residents.
• Serves as a role model for other nursing personnel.
